About Us

Claire and I started Traveltime in 1993. We love travelling and having worked in travel, believed that our knowledge combined with ideas as to what our clients were looking for, was the basis for an independent travel agent group. We started with a single travel agent office and have grown gradually over the years and took over Castaways in 2014 so now we have five branches and two holidau companies.

We have a team of knowledgeable and friendly (most days at least!) staff. We aim to take away the hassle of organizing your holiday and making sure that it meets your needs. In the internet age there is a plethora of information available, but sorting the wheat from the chaff takes time and you can get it wrong – meaning a spoilt holiday. We are here to help.

The security of your holiday money is as important to us as it is to you. Anyone can start a travel agency these days with just £100. In order to belong to ABTA, though, you need to be a substantial company with at least £50,000 share capital, and in addition provide a bond to protect client monies. Traveltime has been a member of ABTA since 1993. So you can be sure that your money is safe with us.

Our aim is to provide excellent, personal service – whatever your budget and wherever you are travelling. Our ‘human search engines’ will take your brief and find you a choice of holidays to meet your needs. We are proud to have won a number of awards over the years.

We are often asked which holiday destinations we specialise in. As we now have a team of over 20 who have visited over 80 countries throughout the world, we now have specialists in most types of holidays and destinations. We do have specialist teams though for Latin America, Africa, India and Australia & New Zealand as well as Cruise Team. So whether it is an African safari, a beach holiday in Bali, a memorable train journey or an exhilarating ski holiday, a cultural journey of discovery or an exploratory cruise we have experts to help.

We look forward to being of service.
